Expert Cleaning Services

At Ground Control Cleaning we specialize in Deep Cleaning mats used in martial arts, gymnastics and athletic facilities.  We use hospital-grade disinfectants,  professional cleaning equipment and methods approved by the largest mat manufacturers.  

Step 1 Vacuum:  

We use commercial vacuums with HEPA filtration to remove all debris, hair and dust on and around the mats. We follow this up with a dust mop to ensure no spots are missed. 

Step 2 Pre-Treat: 

We use a high-capacity pressure sprayer to apply mat cleaner specifically designed to remove the layer of previous cleaner buildup, sweat, dirt, dead skin, etc... from the mats without harming them.

Step 3 Scrub: 

This is the step that makes the biggest impact.  We use a commercial rated counter rotational low moisture floor scrubber that uses two brushes to scrub the dirt out of the grooves that regular cleaning doesn't touch.  The Scrubber also removes the dirty water from the mat into a separate dirty water container.  

Step 4 Disinfect:  

Now that the mats are clean and the dirt and gunk are removed the final step is to disinfect the mat using a hospital grade neutral floor disinfectant.  The disinfectant kills 99.9% of all bacteria, viruses and fungi on the mats without leaving a film or destroying the finish.
